Kitchen hack: Peeling hard boiled eggs easily

Kitchen hack: Peel hard boiled eggs easily  peel eggs

There are several ways people tout as the quick and easy way to peel a hard boiled egg.

Popular, classic methods include:

– Tapping the broad end of the egg with the back of a spoon, breaking the air pocket and allowing you to get underneath the membrane so the shell slides off more easily.

– Peeling while holding under cool running water.

And the two our Chief Executive Angel, Josh, kitchen-tests on his newest podcast:

– Peeling by shaking in a lidded bowl of water or in a glass of water.

– Adding 1 teaspoon of baking soda to the water when boiling the eggs.

What is the easiest way? And what works the fastest?
