Let's Cook!
For taco salad bowls: Heat oven to 400 degrees. Brush tortillas with oil and drape over a small oven-safe bowl. Crisp for 5-8 minutes, pulling them out as soon as they begin to brown.
For taco salad filling: Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet and sauté 1/3 cup diced onion and ground turkey until meat is cooked through. Add 1/4 cup water, 1 tablespoon chili powder, 1 teaspoon each chili powder, cumin, and paprika, 1/2 teaspoon each garlic powder and salt. Mix and simmer until liquid is absorbed. Heat chili and slice fresh tomatoes and avocado.
Fill tortilla bowls with meat and chili and top with tomatoes, avocado, and cheese. Serve with tortilla chips and salsa.
