Bacon-Cheese Hot Dogs

Let's Cook!
In a skillet, partially cook the bacon until tender, but not crisp. Split hot dogs lengthwise, creating a pocket for the cheese, leaving the ends in tact so the cheese doesn't leak out. Fill hot dogs with shredded cheese, then wrap with bacon. If needed, hold the bacon in place with half-pieces of toothpick. Grill or fry the dogs, turning them carefully to not lose the cheese ““ until bacon is crisp, the hot dogs are warm, and cheese is melted. Place in buns (toasted if you choose). Top with condiments of choice, including tomatoes and peppers.
Serve hot with beans and a pickle on the side.
