Hi! I’m Josh Elledge, the Chief Executive Angel of SavingsAngel.com and welcome to the SavingsAngel show! I’m podcasting to you from hot and humid Orlando, Florida.
I am an extremely busy consumer expert, money-saving advocate, syndicated newspaper columnist, and the guy that turns digital entrepreneurs into media celebrities with UpMyInfluence.com. I love what I do and can’t wait to get going on today’s episode.
Today I'm introducing my awesome wife, Jenny Elledge, a very accomplished licensed marriage and family therapist here in Orlando, Florida.
Conflict resolution is something Jenny sees pretty often. Everybody has conflict and that's pretty normal. Actually, everybody has perpetual conflict, meaning there's never going to be a satisfactory solution for both partners due to how we're wired personality wise. Like for instance, spenders tend to be married to savers when it comes to money and you're not going to unwind the other person's personality traits.
The goal is to move from conflict where you feel kind of gridlocked and you're not making traction to move to a dialogue, where your goal is to talk about your own individual needs and feelings and your partner's goal is to listen and validate those feelings and vice versa.
Now you need to listen as Jenny give us some very useful tips and explains how we can go about resolving conflict.
You can ask Jenny questions or get in touch with her simply by calling 407-901-7988 or you can email her at [email protected]
