Orlando Takes the #1 Slot as the Most Frugal City in the US

TopCities2013_MapYou wouldn't think that the city that hosts such big attractions like Disney World, Busch Gardens, SeaWorld and many more would be found as frugal. However, according to a press release from Coupons.com Inc., Orlando was found to be the Most Frugal U.S. City on the 2013 Coupons.com Savings Index!

Orlando residents are said to be 2 times more likely to print coupons or save them to a store loyalty or rewards program, than the average American city dweller.

Out of the top 25 Most On-the-Go Frugal Cities, Orlando also ranked #1, which is an indication that Orlando residents frequently use their mobile devices as a way to save.

It was interesting to note that the top 25 slots were from the Midwest and Southwest. As a big promoter of coupons, Coupons.com, and saving money in general through our Enlightened Shopping System and 90 Days to Abundance, it's humbling to think that SavingsAngel.com is no doubt contributing to the savings being experienced in these areas of the country.
