Fitted sheet frustration fix – How to master folding a fitted sheet

One of life’s little irritations is getting a fitted sheet folded in such a way as to not create a mess in your linen closet or wherever you store your bedding. ft_linencloset06_m.jpg

Some of us have forgone fitted sheets just because they can’t hack folding them. Others of us have solved this problem by simply putting them back on the bed after washing and skipping the linen closet all together. And then there’s the frustrated laundress who just wads up the sheet and stuffs it into a drawer. Forget the nice linen closet display.

Guys, take your tips from this fellow.

Ladies, for a little extra feminine touch try this.

And for a little comic relief, take a look at this Martha Stewart clip.

My tip for keeping a set of sheets all together in a nice neat package is to slide your neatly folded fitted sheet, flat sheet, and the one pillowcase into the remaining pillowcase. Fold the empty end of the pillowcase underneath the stack and you have a nice neat package of sheets.
