Black Friday is coming up fast. Here’s a look at some of the best deals, shopping tips and dining options for the big day, as seen on Orlando News 6!

Orlando Specific Black Friday Deals

  • Gatorland, the “Alligator Capital of the World” is offering several special deals for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, including rare savings off their annual passes and half off the park’s popular Screamin’ Gator Zip Line.
    • Starting at 6 pm on Nov. 22, Adult and Senior annual passes will be marked down to $36.99 (plus tax), from $44.99 (plus tax). Children’s annual passes (for ages 12 and under) will be $24.99 instead of $29.99 (plus tax). Passes can be purchased at www.gatorland.com or at the gate.
    • At midnight on Nov. 26, tickets for the Screamin’ Gator Zip Line will be marked down from $69.99 plus tax to $36.99 plus tax – that’s a $35 dollar savings! Tip: If you’re a stay-at-home/avoid the crowds shopper you may find that Amazon is offering ‘price matching’ for the same item you may see in a competitor’s ad. It’s worth checking to be sure you’re getting the best deal possible.

  • Walmart is offering up some huge savings, especially in the electronics department. The deals start online on Nov. 21 at 10 p.m. Some special buys include:

    • Hover-1 Liberty Hover Board – $99
  • JCPenney is starting its sale at 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving day, although the sale prices will be available online all day. The sale will continue through Friday. Some highlights from their ad include:

    • Boots for the family for just $19.99 (reg. 50-$89)

TIP: Compare In-Store and Online Prices. Not all Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals are amazing  It’s worth checking online for better deals both in-store and online for the same items. Take into account shipping charges as well to be sure you’re getting the best deal.

  • Kohl’s online sale has already started, and its in-store sale will begin at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving. They’re also offering some great savings on electronics, including:

TIP: Search for Coupons. Many of the retailers offer coupons for online sales or their in-store sales. You can find often find these coupons on the retailer’s website, mobile app or in the Black Friday ad itself.

  • Target is starting their Black Friday sale at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving. The sale will continue until 1 a.m. and then start again at 7 a.m. The retailer is also offering free two-day shipping on online orders. Some of the highlights of its Black Friday add include:
    • Fitbit Versa Smartwatch – $149
    • Instant Pot Duo 7-in-1 6 qt pressure cooker – $69.95
    • Google Home Mini – $25

TIP: Check Shipping Charges. Many stores will offer great shipping deals, and it is worth taking advantage of them. While one online retailer might offer free standard shipping (which can take longer), another store might offer free 2-day shipping on orders $50 or more.

  • Home Depot will be closed Thanksgiving day, but sales will start bright and early at 6 a.m. on Black Friday. Some deals include:
    • 22” Fresh Cut Wreaths – 2 for $12
    • 7.5’ Pre-Lit LED Townsend Christmas Tree – $79
    • 5.2 CU FT Steam Washer or 7.4 CU FT Steam Dryer – $648 each (They were $999 each, so that’s a savings of $702 for the pair!)

  • Best Buy will open its doors at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving, although some items are already on sale online.  They’ve got huge markdowns including:

  • Lowes will be closed on Thanksgiving but will be open 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Black Friday. They’ve got some great deals on appliances, including a rebate that will score you a gift card up to $600 for the purchase of any two appliances $396 or more. Other deals include:

  • Menards will kick off its Black Friday sale at 6 a.m. but watch out! The savings only last until noon or when supplies run out – whichever comes first. Some highlights from its ad include:

Denny's – You can eat breakfast or indulge in the classic turkey dinner, or eat in the wee hours of the morning before Black Friday shopping starts.

TGI Friday's – a feast for two will start at $20 this Thanksgiving.

Boston MarketIf you order your to-go box by November 18, they will deliver it to your door in time for Thanksgiving Day. Or you can always eat at the restaurant if you don't want any mess to clean up.

Waffle House – Is open 24/7 including Thanksgiving.

IHOP – Pumpkin Spice Pancakes is on the menu right now. If you’re out shopping or on the road, stop in for this seasonal favorite.

Bob EvansTheir 3 to-go meals: Ham Farmhouse Feast, Turkey Farmhouse Feast, or Premium Farmhouse Feast are ready to feed either four or eight guests and start at $50.

Cracker Barrel – You can order ahead of time and pick it up as early as November 17. Or dine-in for a special Thanksgiving menu (called the Homestyle Turkey n' Dressing meal) including sweet potato casserole and pumpkin pie.

Ruby Tuesday – Simply looking for a regular dining menu. Then Ruby Tuesdays is the place to stop. No special Thanksgiving meals here.

Macaroni Grill – is offering a classic prix fixe menu for $25 per person. Your meal will include several traditional Thanksgiving dishes including turkey, buttermilk mashed potatoes, and fresh apple-cranberry chutney. Your meal will end with a slice of pumpkin pie topped with amaretto mascarpone cream.
