It’s pumpkin time and the Internet is replete with all kinds of pumpkin decorating tips from using power tools for carving to painting pumpkins instead. What I was looking for were some basic, easy, and inexpensive (no power tools, no fancy carving kits) tips and tools for carving pumpkins that will help the not-so-artsy people like me get good carving results.
Included in this video is another tip that will help your pumpkin craft last a bit longer. So, enjoy this short video and happy carving!
Thank you to howdini.com for these great tips!
If you’d prefer to sculpt out a design instead of carving, this next video will show you how to make a free sculpting tool. Sculpting is a much safer option for kids.
Use the same way as was shown in the first video to transfer your design but then sculpt your design instead of carving it out.
A shout out goes to Katie Campshure for this helpful video!
