Cash in on Your Old Electronics with Glyde

SmartphoneSmartphones, tablets, video games, iPods, MacBooks, we love them all. But it isn't long before the new model shows up and now what used to be the latest and greatest is no more.

So what do you do with these “˜old' electronics? Most people stick them in a drawer, on a shelf, or elsewhere until they can figure out what to do with them. In the meantime, they continue to age and lose value.

Instead, sell your electronics on Glyde. Glyde is a marketplace for devices that are still popular even if they are broken or damaged. The site enables you to sell to another private buyer similar to selling on Ebay, but it fixes the price and deals with the exchange for you.

Have some “old” electronics you'd like to sell? Here's how to get started.

Listing

List your item by selecting your device through the search feature on the site. Go through the 8 questions that describes your device and it's condition. By using the Item Condition descriptions, you'll be able to determine the most accurate description of your item. This is important because, a buyer gets 48 hours to decide if they are satisfied with their purchase. So, if the buyer receives a device in a condition less than what was expected, they have the right to return it and you've lost the sale. The returned item is sent back to you to relist if you desire.

Setting the Price

Glyde encourages sellers to list at a set market price. The Market Price, determined by Glyde, is considered to be a happy medium that should result in a quick sale. However, you can set the price yourself, either higher or lower than what they've determined the Market Price to be. The site is upfront about how much money you will receive when the sale is made at the listed price.

You can immediately list your device or set a reminder to be notified later. If you decide to list, there's nothing more for you to do until your device sells.

Shipping

When your item sells, Glyde will send you a shipping kit, prepaid label and everything you need to drop it into the mail. Glyde insures and tracks your shipment too!

Fees

When your item sells, Glyde puts the buyer's money in escrow until the item is shipped and the buyer is satisfied. It then deducts 12% on the first $100 of the item's sale price and 8% on the rest. Depending on the size and weight of your item, you are also charged $1.00-$6.00 for their exclusive shipping kit..

Getting paid

Your money gets deposited into your Glyde account. From there, you are can use it for a purchase on Glyde, or transfer it to your bank account, turn it into bitcoins, or have a paper check mailed to you (for a $2 fee).

Why let old or unused electronics and video games create clutter and continue to age when you can sell them now and pocket some money for something else?
