Hacking homemade ice cream – in a bag!

Get the kids in on the fun of making this homemade vanilla ice cream! You only need a few common ingredients, large and small zip-lock or other seal-tight bags, a bunch of ice cubes or crushed ice, and some course salt for chilling.

You'll want to be sure you start out with enough ingredients because everyone will want some of this simple and tasty ice cream in a bag!

After about 10 minutes of vigorous shaking (maybe play some fast music to help the shakers keep going) and you’ll have some delicious soft vanilla ice cream when you’re done!

Ours thanks goes to Howcast for this video.
