Quick and Easy Thanksgiving Feast Options to Savor

 

Thanksgiving is a day for delicious food with family and friends.

Not to mention cheering your football team and/or getting can’t miss holiday shopping steals.

With all there is to do, you may prefer to buy your turkey or ham with trimmings this year.

While it’s true that this isn’t likely to be the cheapest way to savor the holiday, there are several quick and easy Thanksgiving feast options to choose from.

After all, sometimes time is the most precious commodity.

Several restaurants and even many grocers offer ready-to-heat and eat holiday meals.

Please note the warming instructions from your place of choice and plan accordingly.

Most meals will still take just over 2 hours to have table-ready.

You won’t be cooking anything but you will be warming it up. The food will be packed cold.

 

3 Thanksgiving Feast Providers to Consider:

 

1.Bob Evans: Quoted prices and feast contents may vary depending upon your local restaurant. Supplies may be limited so order early. Contact your local restaurant to confirm serving sizes.

Option 1: Premium Farmhouse Feast (serves 8-10) – $124.99. Contains both a slow-roasted turkey and hickory-smoked ham, sweet buttered corn, bread and celery dressing, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans with ham, macaroni and cheese, cranberry relish, rolls, a loaf of pumpkin bread, pumpkin pie and double-crust apple pie.

Option 2 & 3: Farmhouse Feast – Ham (serves 4 OR 8) – $54.99 OR $84.99. Contains sliced hickory smoked ham, sweet buttered corn, bread and celery dressing, homestyle mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans with ham, rolls, and a pumpkin pie. (Serves 8 option also includes a loaf of pumpkin bread.)

Option 4 & 5: Farmhouse Feast – Turkey (serves 4 OR 8) – $59.99 OR $89.99. Contains a slow-roasted turkey, family side of gravy, sweet buttered corn, bread and celery dressing, homestyle mashed potatoes, green beans with ham, cranberry relish, rolls, and a pumpkin pie. (Serves 8 option also includes a loaf of pumpkin bread.)

 

2. Cracker Barrel Old Country Store: You must order a minimum of 24 hours in advance. Contact your local restaurant to confirm serving sizes.

Option 1: (Note: This option comes hot and ready to eat – no heating necessary! You can even customize your potato choice and/or gravy choice.) 

Homestyle Turkey N’ Dressing Family Meal To-Go (serves up to 6) – $74.99. Contains a classic Thanksgiving meal of turkey n’ dressing, a sampling of sugar-cured ham, cranberry relish, turkey gravy (or your gravy of choice), country green beans, macaroni n’ cheese, dinner rolls and your choice of mashed potatoes or sweet potato casserole*. (*contains pecans) 

Option 2: (Note: This option comes cold but needs 2 hours or less to warm.)

Heat N’ Serve Holiday Family Meal To-Go (serves up to 10) – $124.99. Contains two oven-roasted turkey breasts, cornbread dressing, turkey gravy, cranberry relish, sweet yeast rolls, your choice of 3 country sides (each serves 10), pumpkin pie and pecan pie.

 

3. Boston Market: This restaurant has the most options. You can order full Thanksgiving feasts or just the essentials you’re craving. Below are only four of the full meal options. Contact your local restaurant or check them out online for all prices and options. Quoted prices and feast contents may vary depending upon your local restaurant.

Options 1 and 2: (Note: Both of these contain the same sides and serve 12, only the meats vary.)

Option 1: Whole Roasted Turkey Meal – $129.99. Contains a whole roasted turkey.

Option 2: Combo Roasted Turkey Breast and Boneless Ham meal – $129.99. Contains one half boneless honey-glazed ham and one boneless roasted turkey breast.

Sides for both options: One 32 oz spinach artichoke dip and crackers, two 32 oz mashed potatoes, two 32 oz gravy, two 32 oz vegetable stuffing, two 12 oz cranberry walnut relish, twelve dinner rolls, one apple pie, and one pumpkin pie. 

Option 3: Spiral-Sliced Ham Meal (serves 12) – $129.99. Contains one spiral-sliced ham, one 32 oz spinach artichoke dip and crackers, two 32 oz mashed potatoes, one 32 oz gravy, one 32 oz cinnamon apples, two 32 oz sweet potato casserole, twelve dinner rolls, one apple pie, and one pumpkin pie.

Option 4: Half Boneless Honey-Glazed Ham Meal (serve 4-6) – $89.99.
