Why the seemingly random opener?


On our journey from debt to freedom, I had my share of horrible phone conversations with collectors. I wish I'd had caller ID back then. (Not to mention wishing I'd known then what I know now.) And I want to share them with you, just in case...

Today I am headed to a good friends house to make cards. My friend is a big time stamper and she wants to make cards for my hospital bags. She has made some samples and emailed me the photos. They are nice. I am just having so many emotions knowing these cards are going to the future moms and families who are going to have their dreams shattered. These families are going to have to endure more pain than they have ever felt. Do these cards even matter??? Will these families even care, probably ...

Having two little kiddos keeps me quite busy and I haven't been a posting fool like I used to be so I thought some of you might appreciate a Weston update.

I am very proud to announce my miracle baby is in the 95th percentile!! (For those that don't know what this means,...is that out of 100babies there would only be 5 who would be larger than my son!).

Weston is happy, healthy, and has no lasting effects from his close call back in January.

I just got off the phone from someone from Grand Rapids Magazine. (I think that was the name of it) She wants to interview me about Savings Angel, and follow me on a shopping trip next week!

It sounds like a lot of fun, but I'm a little nervous too. What if its a stinky sale week? Or I have one of those bad experiences we all dread at the cashier? And what am I going to wear?

I am excited to share with people, though, about what a difference Savings Angel ...
