A 100 calorie treat from Healthy Choice this new frozen yogurt is divinely rich
and creamy tasting! It comes in 4 flavors, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry and
vanilla bean. My favorite is the strawberry!
There are 3 - 4 oz cups in each package and is given a Weight Watchers
PointsPlus™ Value of 3. If you are on a weight loss diet, that
may be an ideal snack or treat but 4 oz for anyone else isn't much. There are no
artificial flavors and they are made with real fruit.
The drawback - 3 cups per package this product is pretty pricey. There is a $1 printable coupon
available at yoplait.com

Purchased - Kroger's
Price $2.00
Coupon -$1.00
Final Price $1.00

A Little Known Fact: Stores Love Customers Using Coupons

Obviously if you are reading this, you are using coupons to save money. What many may not realize is that stores love to accept manufacturer coupons because they make money off of them!
Being a small retail business owner, I can vouch for the fact that manufacturers pay stores for accepting their coupons.
It is a simple process, the store accepts the manufacturer's coupons, turns them into a clearing house and the store gets reimbursed for the the discount they gave the customer plus they get a few cents for every coupon they turn in. Even a few cents "commission" can add up to some big money if a store has thousands of coupons to turn in.
Using coupons is a win - win situation! You save on the item you purchase and the store gets their money back plus a few cents per coupon more! So keep using those coupons! :3:

Meijer's is my second best choice to shop. Their prices are slightly higher than Walmart but they have some really great sales and issue store coupons.
This week I made 2 trips. The first trip, armed with manufacturer coupons and the Meijer coupons to piggyback on the manufacturer coupons, I took advantage of their Buy 10 items at $1.00 each and get the 11th free.
I purchased 20 items and got 2 additional items free.
The total came to $12.91, which means I paid less than .58 per item!
The best part came at the check out, where I got a Meijer store coupon for Campbell's Harvest Select Soup. Buy 5 and get $1.25 off. So my second trip I went with the coupon and had 3 manufacturer's coupon (buy 2 get $1.00 off) for the same item. Since they are on sale for $1.00 each, I purchased 6 cans of Campbell's Harvest Select Soup and paid a total of only $1.75! Less than .30 per can for soup that is at retail for $2.05!
That is just SUPER AMAZING!
This was a great week at Meijer's!

An Awesome New Beginning!

This is my first month with Savings Angel and I have spent the past few weeks getting to know the site. I love it! It is amazing!
I have been clipping coupons for a few months now and trying to figure out how everyone was saving so much money as they claimed they were.
The area that I live in does not double coupons and no matter how hard I tried I just couldn't get it. I did save a few dollars here and there but nothing like everyone else was saying they did.
I had found Savings Angel a few months prior but put off becoming a member because I was using other sites and wasn't really crazy about paying for a membership. I am glad that I took the plunge! I have learned more from this site than from any of the others that I had been using.
The best thing I like about Savings Angel is their "Shopping List" feature! That is just so awesome. It is laid out with all the info I need to get organized for my weekly grocery shopping. Which by the way, consists more of stockpiling now and less of replenishing what we run out of! I had to learn to buy in multiples when the deals are good and to REMEMBER to have multiple coupons for that product. I had been stuck in the 1 coupon per purchase, mode of thinking! Duh!
Back to the shopping list - I do my main shopping at Walmart Super Center because they match competitor ads on groceries, with the exception of fresh Walmart brand meat. I collect the varies store ads from the area (for proof if I need to show the cashier), during the week, some are in the Sunday paper, some come in the mail or in the freebie newspaper that we get. I start my list of items we will be running out of on paper.
During the week I get on Savings Angel and start my new list. I start with Walmart and add the area stores to the Walmart list by left clicking on all the area stores at the "search for products" sectiion at the bottom of the page. This adds all the sales items from all the area stores to the Walmart list. I then go through and add the best deals, add the items that I have replenish, even if they are not on sale.
Check the notes listed on each sale item on each sale to be sure I have the right coupons and the right amount of coupons, print my list and off I go! The bottom of the list tells me what I can expect to pay as a total and how much I can expect to save! I just love it!
When I get to the checkout counter, I separate the non-sales from the sale items and tell the cashier the Comp Ad prices, and then hand him/her my coupons. Note on this: It is a good idea to count the number of coupons you hand the cashier and make a note of the total amount. I have found that computer generated coupons sometimes stick together and the cashier doesn't scan them all. :20:
Every week gets easier and easier, the more organized I become the less amount of time I spend getting my list together. Savings Angel has been a really big help in teaching me the finer points. Now I love doing the grocery shopping!
Thanks! :love01:
